This was a gift for my 4-year-old niece, and she really liked it. I chose it because coloring books are hugely​ popular with everyone these days, and this book had lots of playful and doodles and pictures to color - or practice coloring. It seemed like the right age appropriate, size, and scheme for an almost 5-year-old girl. Of course, I had to send a variety of coloring pens and pencils so she could do the 'job' right, lol. It was a great purchase, and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!
Wonderful pictures for when you are wanting to color something that isnt insanely complicated or intricate. The pictures are more cartoon like. No intricate backgrounds. Sometimes i just dont feel like spending 12 hours on a single picture, or coloring things in realistic colors. This book was perfect for that. Some images are more detailed than others. Some are mostly blank so you can fill in your own designs (hence why the title says activity book) I have included some images. Some colored by me, some blank, and an example of the pages at the front of the book that come precolored to give you ideas about color schemes when you get "color block"
Really cute and smaller pictures. Not so complicated and busy for younger kids. I didn't like that there are pictures printed on both sides.
An absolutely adorable book! So many cute pages, ready for both young & old, experienced, & beginner.... great for anyone who enjoys colouring as their form of relaxation!
Cute drawings on good quality perforated paper. Decorated quotes on the back of each page. Several color pages on color and art and numerous full color examples with color schemes. A few of the pages are full outlines to be doodles in and a couple have items to be doodled in along with decorated items. In total there are 5 pages to be doodled on.
PERFECT for vacation! Bought these for my 4 & 5y/o and they spent HOURS coloring. It was perfect for our long road trip to distract them in the car, but they could hardly put them down. They would want to color WAY late into the night and then wake up and start again. The detailed drawings are perfect for this age b/c most coloring books for their age can be finished in just a few minutes. These take time! Which is great for a momma needing a break. Ha! It was also amazing to see their creativity with color combos. We used gel slider pens with these and would highly recommend those as well.
I ordered this as a birthday gift for a 7 year old girl that loves to draw and color. I also purchased a pack of gel pens to go with it. The designs were adorable for that age group and seem to be a perfect fit for those that want something more advanced than the regular kids coloring books, but aren't ready for the extreme detail of the adult coloring books. This was the favorite item at the party and I've had several parents ask where I bought it from. I'm going to order another for my own 7 year old for Christmas.....with the gel pens. Those also seem to be a huge hit with this age group.
I love this coloring book. Perfect for any girl or any adult who loves coloring cute animals. The book has cute owls and other animals in it. It does not have any intricate pictures to color, but I enjoy coloring simple pictures sometimes that do not take as long to color. I would buy again for myself or to give as a gift.
My daughter loves this coloring book! The small details make her heart happy (her words), and she has gotten lots of ideas from the coloring examples in the front. It's one that she asks for us to do together, and I'm more than happy to oblige! The pages are one-sided, perfect for ink, markers, or gel pens. The pages aren't thick enough to handle these wet mediums alone, so be sure to have another page, preferably cardstock, behind it. These adorable pages will have us coming back for more!
