This, as far as I know is not keto. I quit reading and returned this book after seeing oatmeal and orange juice in recipes. In my keto plan, those are not keto foods.

Keto in the title and pictures with rice and ingredients such as rolled oats....which are not keto. The photos are dull, showing items either not keto friendly or sides that look appealing but no recipes for those. Ingredients such as light cream, cottage cheese, tofu, sweet potato and rolled oats which aren’t super keto friendly. Photos on the cover and not all are included in the recipes which include mint soup and quite a few other random meals. There is no cohesiveness to the recipes and zero that I would eat as an everyday meal.

This book has beautiful color photos of each recipe, which I love! As I look over the recipes, they seem to be simple enough...which is important if they are for the Instant Pot. I have an Instant Pot to save time and I want quick and easy recipes that are not complicated! As far as Keto goes...some ingredients are not keto friendly, such as oatmeal, orange juice, apples, and carrots. Also...there are options to make each recipe low fat or high fat. Keto is always high fat...so I'm not sure why the low fat option is given. Some recipes have ingredients that I am not familiar with, but Katie gives substitutions to use for those ingredients, and I appreciated that. All in all, this is a nice cookbook.

So many choices/recipes and such beautiful photos to go with them. The varied recipes are not ones you find in your "standard" cookbooks. They are not only separated into the usual categories they also have the Keto diet information and given variations for the type of diet you choose. Low fat or High fat. Each one is broken down but none of them are complicated or have a ton of ingredients. Everything from Healthy Chicken Cacciatoree and Chicken Hainanese to Minted Cream Soup to Crispy Feta with Zucchini Ribbons and don't forget Peanut Butter Cheesecake and all the regular categories. BUT it doesn't stop there. It really is a Keto Diet Primer. I had heard of the Keto Diet but didn't really know anything about it and this book explains it all in real language and has so many charts and guidance you need no other. Of course it also has an Instant Pot for Beginners guide even a Recipes and Snack Summary. If you are serious about finding new and delicious recipes and especially if you are on or want to be on the Keto Diet this is the Ultimate guide and recipe book for you. You will NOT be disappointed!

I am new to the Keto diet, but not low carb eating. I could put together simple, not so inventive meals. This cookbook expands my knowledge of how to prepare low carb, tasty, full meals ,with my handy Instant Pot! It gives me lots of great ideas and expands my knowledge of what and how to eat on a Keto diet. The beginning of the book has a Getting Started section that explains how to calculate calories and macros to make the diet effective.Of course, the recipes are good for anyone that wants to prepare healthy meals in their Instant Pot.In addition, the book is loaded with full color pictures and is well designed.

With the keto diet craze going on right now this is an awesome tool to help you get started. Easy explanation of everything, instant pot recipes are easy to follow and many ingredients are things you have already in your home. Love this cookbook!!! You will too!! <3

I have done the keto diet several times and found it a great way to get rid of the crap foods that creep into your food choices, lose some weight and generally feel better. However, over the long term, keto was hard to maintain as I got bored of the repetitiveness of the "meat only" dishes that I made.... and the amount of complaining that I heard from the family LOL. This book combines keto with the INSTANT POT that I just LOVE. It has lots of variety in meats, spices, and food types, with main dishes, soups, and desserts, as well as vegetarian options. If you have used any of the many new Instant Pot recipe books out there, you will find many will leave your meats a pulpy mess which means that it was cooked too long on the high pressure setting. I have found that the recipes in this book have reasonable cooking times and combine good cooking settings with great sauces and spices. A great choice for those embarking on the keto way of life with info on keto in general, links to calculators, and the macros you need to keep track of for each recipe.

Just received my book this week and it’s incredible. The pictures are amazing and I’m excited to to get started. My husband loves the fact that is has all the nutritional info included for each recipe! Simple, easy to follow high and low fat options. We especially love the meal plans included. We are going through it together to see which recipe to try first, lol. This may prove to be more difficult than expected 😜. Thank you for this great book, very well worth the purchase
