This is an awesome book! As a devout animal lover I was thrilled and amazed to read how injured animals could once again enjoy life to its fullest thanks to the shared advances between veterinary and human medicine. The tremendous generosity of the people whose donations enabled all this to happen to such a huge variety of animals was so heart warming. “Unstoppable†is an inspiring and uplifting book with a strong message. I loved it! The amazing devices and the ability of the animals to adapt is presented by the author in a very informative and entertaining way.
Unstoppable is such an inspirational, uplifting book that is sure to melt the heart of any child (of any age ~ adult included) who reads it. The photos highlight the gratitude these many different kinds of animals share when they discover their mobility again through these creative and helpful devices that give them a more fulfilling life. This book would be appreciated by any child who loves animals, from the tiny guinea pig to an elephant and would make a great gift of shared encouragement. Seeing these animals overcoming their challenges gives hope and determination to anyone needing a lift in overcoming their own challenges. I highly recommend this book.

I highly recommend this book to all animal lovers. Prosthetic devices for animals have gone way beyond anything I could imagine. You never know when one of your own animals may need a prosthetic device, and this may be good information to pass on to friends. Our last three Saint Bernards either were born with or later developed problems with limbs. Some of the information in this book might have helped. This book must have required a lot of research because the information contained is not general knowledge. Well done, Nancy.
What an amazing and inspirational book! As a true animal lover and supporter, Nancy Furstinger has once again proven that she can provide her readers with immense knowledge about an array of topics and inspire them in her writing! Each one of these stories is not just about an amazing animal with a physical challenge, but also about the amazing people who love them and are compassionate, courageous and willing to find the means to help them. We can all be "unstoppable" if we allow ourselves to observe and learn and mirror how animals adapt to not only their physical challenges but also their environmental challenges. Read these spirited true stories and be inspired and you can believe anything is possible!
I am a ten-year old girl who used this book for a school project. My favorite animal in the book was Estella the guinea pig - the pictures of her were adorable! It features so many cool facts about the devices that the animals use to get around and to survive. I would recommend this book to anyone! Especially if you like animals, but even if you don't like animals if you like tech and inventions you will love it!!
